How do you keep motivated in your career?

Motivation is multifaceted concept. There is motivation through remuneration, through work satisfaction, as well as motivation through recognition. All three of these have to work in unison to achieve motivation. Alstom has always been able to present opportunities to allow these facets of motivation, the difference is that I chose the mindset (and continue to do so daily) to maintain my motivation level!

I agree with Gysbertus. In my view, motivation comes from discovering your passion and purpose in both your career and workplace. When you engage in activities you love and that inspire you every day, giving your life a deeper meaning, motivation becomes something that arises naturally from within rather than something you need to seek externally.
