From Graphic Design to Psychology

- Studying Graphic Design was a random decision which was guided by my instinct. There was no rational reason, but I knew it was something I was keen to pursue. The skills I have learnt have been critical for my success in lots of different roles. Biggest lesson is that sometimes taking a divergent or 'left of field' action gives you perspective and insight you would have not accumulated previously. - Moving into Change Management was imperative to learn about Project Management and effective Stakeholder Management. Moving back in HR after contracting in a Change Management role was a blessing. It enabled me to learn about project management methodologies and change management principles which are incredibly effective. - Studying in New Orleans, Louisana was an incredible opportunity. It was a mind-expanding opportunity, enabling me to learn from others, their experiences and different perspectives. Any opportunity for cognitive diversity is important, it helps us to grow and challenge our own beliefs.

I create Learning and Development programs for Australia & New Zealand

My role is to support the Australia and New Zealand Cluster on providing learning and development opportunities, particularly with Leadership Development.

Working across multiple projects and supporting peoples growth.

Enables me to support a broad amount of people and work across multiple projects. Projects that enable me to support different types of stakeholders, in different locations and for different purposes.

Everyone is a library, strive to learn or take a lesson from everyone.

Everyone has something to offer. Each person comes with a depth of perspective, experience and knowledge, so it is always important to stay curious, learn from others and keep an open mind. The more we open ourselves beyond our existing beliefs on what should be, the more we embrace cognitive diversity and therefore grow. On the other hand, each of us also has something to share. Never undermine your knowledge, experience and perspective, it is a gift to those around you as you provide the same opportunity to them as they do for you.

Ran a project to implement the Wellbeing Program during COVID.

In 2020, I implemented a Wellbeing at Work program at the Largest Disability Services Provider in Western Australia. The project was intense, but an honor to be make possible.
