Finance professional with over 15 years of experience!
Growing up, I was very good with numbers, which led me to select Mathematics & Science as a core subject throughout my studies in High school. As I explored various career options, I found myself deliberating between Engineering and Finance Management courses. Ultimately, I recognized that a career in Finance aligns best with my interests and aspirations.
I pursued Chartered Accountancy (CA), which is regarded as one of the most prestigious qualifications in the Finance and Commerce fields in India. In addition to the CA program, I simultaneously undertook studies in Company Secretary (CS) and Cost & Management Accounting (CMA) to enhance my knowledge in various aspects of Financial Management and compliance.
I have worked with several organizations, including Larsen & Toubro, Mitsubishi, General Electric, Bombardier, and ALSTOM.
I have been fortunate to work in various areas within the Finance function, including Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Project Controlling, Audit, Accounting, Treasury, and Cash Management. Having spent a significant portion of my career in the project industry, I have a particular preference for Project Controlling. Additionally, I have a strong interest in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).
While I have primarily been based in India, I also had the opportunity to work in Saudi Arabia on a short-term assignment.
I find great excitement in taking on new roles and embracing challenges. I believe that one learns the most when navigating through difficult situations, and I strive to succeed in these endeavors.
I have been fortunate to have exceptional mentors who guided me and helped me reach new heights in my career. I believe in the importance of helping others and do not hesitate to seek assistance when needed.
